Fires move fast. Whether you're at home, an apartment, or a care facility, flames can spread in minutes, so have an emergency plan before you need it.

Remember these steps during a fire:
Exit immediately using your planned evacuation route
Have a go bag packed and ready with all necessary medications
Once out, stay out, do not re-enter until emergency services give all clear

Your health needs don't pause during a disaster. Medications, medical supplies, and first aid essentials must be part of your emergency kit. If you rely on prescription meds, keep extra doses sealed and ready to go.
Are YOU ready?

Don't wait for the next alert to find out. Start preparing today.

Do you know the warning signs of heat-related illness?
When temperatures climb, your body sends distress signals and recognizing them early can save a life. Dizziness, nausea, rapid pulse, confusion, and even the absence of sweating in extreme heat are all red flags that need immediate attention.

Don't wait it out. Move to a cool place, hydrate, and cool down right away.
If symptoms are severe, call 9-1-1. Know the signs. Act fast. Stay safe this summer.
