📚✨ Last Friday, our residents visited the new Abilene Public Library inside the beautifully renovated Abilene Heritage Square!

The library now fills three floors of the former Abilene High School, offering everything from adult and children’s collections to study rooms, a recording studio, local history resources, and a Maker Space. Residents loved exploring the building and learning how this historic landmark has been given a meaningful new purpose.

Originally opened as Abilene High School in 1924, the building has served generations of local students and continues its legacy as a center for education and community connection. During our visit, three library cards were renewed and several books were checked out! 📖💛

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with history, learning, exploration, and community engagement.

🇺🇸💛 We had a wonderful time at our Patio Patriotic Party celebrating the hard work and dedication of our residents on the Courtyard Beautification Project!

It was a beautiful morning spent enjoying the refreshed courtyard, lovely weather, and the results of their efforts. Residents sipped on festive red, white, and blue sodas generously provided by Touching Hearts at Home while patriotic music filled the air.

One special moment was seeing many residents stand proudly as the National Anthem played. It was a meaningful celebration of community spirit, teamwork, and the beautiful space our residents helped create.
