Are Facebook photo-dumps still a thing? We have been a bit MIA because we have been so busy with PLAY!

It’s hard to believe our summer is already coming to an end. So many days filled with dancing, dreaming, building, doing, and all the most important work of childhood.

We can’t wait for our next school year to begin!

As we gather for Spring to the Commons this Saturday, we are especially honored to also host something truly meaningful happening within our space…

The Bradley Street Playschool Art Show & Spring Fundraiser — a beautiful celebration of childhood, creativity, and joy.

Childhood is full of wonder — found in nature, in imagination, in favorite objects, and in the way children see the world. This exhibit is a visual representation of that joy, thoughtfully created and shared by the students and families of Bradley Street Playschool.

✨ And the best part? Joy grows when it’s shared.

We are so grateful to support this incredible school — its teachers, its families, and the intentional, life-giving work they are doing in our community. Their presence is a gift to Abingdon, and we hope you’ll take time to step in, experience the exhibit, and support their fundraiser.

🌟🌟NOTHING WITHOUT JOY🌟🌟

Childhood is full of all kinds of joy- the experiences we have in nature and our community, our favorite toys and comfort objects, the way we see ourselves and our world.

Sharing our joy compounds it! We are so thrilled to share a visual representation of childhood joy with everyone in Abingdon!!

Making real-life connections fosters so much learning in early childhood!

Mirroring out of school experiences in the classroom helps build social skills, critical thinking, and is just plain fun!

We are LOVING having our very own outpost of The Pakalachian Food Truck right now!!

The children are “doing all that great cooking” of their favorite dishes, practicing their ordering skills, and delivering lots of to-go orders. We’re still working on our limeade recipe though! 😂💙

What a wonderful community we are a part of!!!
