✨ On October 7th in Abingdon, Virginia, AMAI will co-host an educational workshop for individuals with memory change and their care partners, and we are asking for your support. 💜

We will provide a resource toolkit for those attending the workshop, and we are asking organizations that support older adults to consider donating useful items, such as:

Tote bags
Journals/notebooks and pens
Pill organizers and medication logs
Folders/document organizers
Large-print calendars
Reusable water bottles
Brain-health activity or puzzle books
Reminiscence/conversation cards
Magnifying glasses or night lights
Encouraging books
Self-care items
Dementia education brochures/booklets
Community resource guides

While our organization serves Southwest Virginia, and local businesses are encouraged to support this effort, we also would be grateful for any resources provided by regional or national partners.

Donors will be recognized as event sponsors and will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes.

We are planning for 60-80 attendees, but items in any quantity will be useful!

If you are interested in supporting this effort, please contact us!

Thank you for your consideration and interest in Helping Southwest Virginians Age Well!

Speak Up! Help Virginia Age Better!

Your responses to this survey are completely anonymous. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes and is best completed all at one time. Except for a few eligibility questions, all questions are optional.

Find the survey at: https://tinyurl.com/Aging-Survey. The survey will be open until September 25, 2026.
