We are so saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear friend Dave Cannistraro. An original and invaluable member of the Brook team, many alumni will remember him for his commitment to recovery and his willingness to drop everything to help with whatever you needed—a chat, a ride, a pep talk, a good laugh. Our therapy dog Gracie will especially miss Dave’s love and the yummy snacks (only Dave would get Gracie her own steak from the 99 🥩😊). Dave was a true gentleman and a good friend, he will be missed. May he rest in God’s perfect peace.

Since 1989, Recovery Month is a triumphant celebration every September, honoring the remarkable progress made by those who have overcome substance use disorder. BRC is thrilled to join forces with exceptional recovery organizations in our area to celebrate Recovery Month. A huge thank you to Kate (and Lucie 🐾) for being beacons of hope as they represent us across the state!!
