**Nurses Week**
As Nurses Week comes to an end, we celebrated the many nurses in our community and the hard work, long hours, and dedication they give to helping others.
In our practice, nurses play an important role in helping patients navigate health related questions, understand their care, and feel supported when they need it most. But so much of what nurses do does not always show up on a chart, a call volume report, or a daily task list.
Our nurses support not only our patients, but also our providers, managers, and medical staff. We rely on them for their knowledge, advice, leadership, and mentorship. We also ask them to carry a standard that goes far beyond any job description.
From comforting new parents worried about a sick child, to guiding support staff, mentoring new nurses, helping new providers, and keeping wellness at the center of what we do, our nurses play a vital role in the life of our practice and our community.
There are not enough words to fully recognize everything our nurses do, but especially this week we want to say thank you.
Here is to our nurses, the heroes of the many things that make all the difference.
