Today would have been the 104th Birthday of our beloved Bishop Altamont Reid, Sr. who went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2000. He taught us so much by his love for God, sacrificial service to his family and community, humility, kindness, gentleness and hard work. He loved his homeland Jamaica and never forgot where he came from. I know that he is proud of his descendants and former church members, particularly those who are sharers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Rest in Heaven, Bishop, dad, grandfather and dear friend.

I’m so excited to announce this year we have raised a record amount of funds for this year’s food pantry in Jamaica. Of course due to COVID-19, we will not be hosting the annual dinner but instead distributing needed food to select families. Pictures of the event will be posted in the next few weeks. Thanks to all who have donated to this special event and happy, blessed holiday season.

The 5th Annual Holiday Dinner and Pantry is coming and we will post pictures from the event in Jamaica, WI. We are looking at a record in funds collected so if you want to help please email me at [email protected]. Pictures from this year’s annual holiday dinner in Jamaica, WI will be posted soon. Each year selected families are provided dinner for Christmas and food from the pantry for a couple of months after.

Here are a few pictures from this year’s Annual Bishop Altamont and Adassa Reid holiday event in Jamaica, WI. Not only did we provide dinner to selected families, we also gave them groceries for their pantries. Close to $400 in funds was sent. On behalf of the foundation , thank you!
