A huge thank you to the PTO at NorthPointe Christian Elementary for inviting us to be part of Teacher Appreciation Week. 💜🍎

It was such a gift to spend time caring for the teachers and staff who pour so much of themselves into their students every single day. From chair massages to small moments of rest and connection, we hope each person felt how valued and appreciated they truly are.

One of the most meaningful moments of the was reading the beautiful poem displayed in the principal’s office:

“This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift…”

Those words perfectly reflected the heart we felt throughout the building — a community rooted in service, faithfulness, compassion, and care for others.

To every teacher, staff member, and volunteer: thank you for the countless unseen things you do each day. The patience, encouragement, kindness, and love you give matter more than words can say. We are honored we could give back to people who give so much. ✨

We hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the shift into spring. We wanted to quickly reconnect and share a little update before inviting you to something special we have coming up this May.

You may have noticed we skipped our April yoga class. Flood season came upon us with back-to-back floods. The good news is that everything is okay. Living where we do, we’re no strangers to flood season, and we’ve already gotten things back in order. I’ll share a few photos below so you can see what flood season looks like.

Now that things have settled, we’re excited to bring back our Restore & Reset offering at Duo Massage. If you’re looking to support recovery, reduce stress, or simply slow down, this class is designed to help you reset both body and mind.

✨ Restore & Reset: Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra
Sunday, May 17 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Monday, May 18 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Class Format:
60 minutes of gentle, supported Restorative Yoga + 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra (sleep-based guided meditation)

What to expect:
• Gentle, supported poses (using bolsters, blankets, straps & blocks)
• Long, comfortable holds with no strain or struggle
• Yoga Nidra – a deeply restful, sleep-based meditation
• You’ll leave feeling grounded, relaxed, and restored

Class size is limited to 6 participants. Pre-registration required, see link in bio.

Pricing:
$35 per person

Unwind, reset, and deeply restore in this gentle, nourishing practice designed to calm the body and quiet the mind. We will begin with Restorative Yoga, using supportive props and long-held, comfortable poses to release tension, reduce stress, and invite the nervous system into a state of deep relaxation. The session will then transition into Yoga Nidra, a sleep-based guided meditation. As you rest comfortably, you’ll be led through a series of breath and body awareness techniques designed to promote profound relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional balance—leaving you feeling refreshed, grounded, and renewed.
