Our Halloween Candy Drive at Vancrest of Ada is still underway, and we’d love your help filling our treat bags for the Halloween festivities! 🧡

💜 September Is World Alzheimer’s Month

Occasionally forgetting a name or appointment can happen to anyone. However, memory or thinking changes that begin interfering with everyday life should not be ignored.

Possible warning signs may include frequently repeating questions, difficulty completing familiar tasks, confusion with time or place, trouble following conversations, changes in judgment or personality, and misplacing items without being able to retrace steps.

If you notice concerning changes in yourself or someone you love, start a conversation with a healthcare provider. An evaluation can help determine what may be causing the changes and connect families with helpful information and support.

World Alzheimer’s Month is an important reminder to increase understanding, reduce the stigma surrounding dementia, and support the individuals and families whose lives are affected.

You are not alone. 💜

We are proud to recognize both Assisted Living Week and Environmental Services Week and the wonderful people who help make our facility feel like home each day.

From the care, laughter, and meaningful moments shared in Assisted Living to the hard work that keeps our facility clean, welcoming, and comfortable, every role makes a difference.
