Gold Crest has become a rooted extension of Adams, Nebraska that values respect and supporting the people and organizations of our community. We contribute to Adams by actively participating in local events, sponsoring community initiatives, and volunteering our time and resources. We strive to create meaningful relationships and make a positive impact on the lives of those around us. In addition to offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care, we pride ourselves in offering Child Care for our community. Our on-site child care program not only provides a safe and nurturing environment for children but also offers them the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with our residents. The presence of the children brings an undeniable energy and vitality to our community, creating a vibrant atmosphere that is cherished by all.

Want your weekends and holidays back? We’re looking for two positive, energetic team members to join our classroom family!

Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends/holidays!)

Must-haves: 1,500+ documented hours in a licensed childcare setting, verified by a positive employer reference, a current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

The fun stuff: Silly story time voices, master Lego skills, and the ability to negotiate who gets the red block.

🟣🟠BIG GIVE GAGE 2026!🟠🟣

The Adams Community Foundation, Freeman Foundation, and Gold Crest are excited to be participating in this year’s Big Give Gage! We have some exciting opportunities to support three local projects, starting September 3rd, and continuing through Big Give Day of Giving, on September 10th! We first wanted to share a little about what each groups project goals are:

🌳 Adams Community Foundation – A new shade structure at the park
🎶 Freeman Foundation – A new Marimba for our Music Department
🚐 Gold Crest – A new, accessible, transit van

Starting tomorrow, September 3rd, we will kick off our fundraising efforts with “Coin Wars! Freeman students in grades K–6 can bring in coins to add to their grade’s collection bucket. At the end of the week, the grade that raises the most money will win a special treat!

In addition to Coin Wars, there are several ways to join us and support our local nonprofits:

1. Give Online – Online giving is open September 3–10 at www.biggivegage.org.

2. Bites for Big Give – Enjoy lunch or a tasty treat at participating Adams businesses on Thursday, September 10 from 11:00-1:30, with a portion of proceeds donated back to our local nonprofits!

3. Drop Off a Donation – Stop by Adams State Bank on September 10 to make your Big Give Gage donation in person.

4. Rally for our Community- Come cheer on the Falcons at the Freeman home volleyball game on Thursday, September 10, and make a donation while you’re there! Each nonprofit will have a table set up with details on each project.

All money collected from Coin Wars, Bites for Big Give, and Rally for our Community will be divided equally among three local projects. In person giving, at Adams State Bank, and online donations are designated to each group specifically.
