A new chapter is beginning.

Over the past year, I’ve been carefully planning and creating a more permanent home for Attuned Hearts Counseling, one designed with comfort, privacy, and connection in mind.

Beginning June 29, I’ll be welcoming clients into a beautiful new office in Richardson, Texas. From the larger therapy space to the private waiting area, every detail was chosen intentionally to support the meaningful work that happens here.

Today, I’m sharing the story behind the move, what inspired it, and why this new space matters—not just to me, but to the couples and individuals I serve.

After nearly two weeks away on vacation, I’m back in the office and feeling refreshed, recharged, and genuinely excited to be sitting across from my clients again.

As much as I value rest and time away, returning to this work always reminds me how meaningful it is to witness people courageously show up for themselves, their relationships, and the people they love.

Whether you’re navigating conflict, feeling disconnected from your partner, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting a deeper connection, therapy can provide a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and create lasting change.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to do this work every day and looking forward to reconnecting with my current clients and meeting new couples in the weeks ahead.

In case there was ever any doubt, at the beginning of Pride month, I think it’s important to make clear that welcomes couples that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Every now and then, before booking, I get an email from a gay/lesbian couple asking if it’s “okay” for them to work with me. I always reassure them that I have clinical experience working with 🏳️‍🌈 couples, and that they are welcome, but it always breaks my heart that our society has created an environment that makes some couples feel the need to ask permission to safely exist. For the record, I believe y’all means all! 🌈

My weekend helping facilitate Core Skills has come to a close, but I am fired up about this next generation of EFT therapists! It’s such a gift to support other couples therapists as they grow in this model I love so much. I feel so privileged to be an and I can’t wait to continue working with some of these new therapist through supervision while I also continue seeing my amazing clients.
