This poor fella is still here and apparently nobody is missing him? Seriously if anyone knows who this boy belongs to please contact us and them so we can get him returned. Its very stressful for them to be separated from their family.

Friendly reminder.
Consumer fireworks may be used or exploded within the City on July 3 between 9 am and 10 pm, unless July 3 is the Saturday or Sunday immediately preceding July 4, in which case consumer fireworks may be exploded until 11 pm. Consumer fireworks may also be exploded within the City on July 4 between 9 am and 11 pm, and on December 31 between 9 am and 12:30 am on January 1. It is unlawful for any person to use or explode consumer fireworks within the City on any other days and times.

For Immediate Release

At approximately 7:50 PM Adel Police officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Pleasant Street. There, officers found two adults with gunshot wounds. One was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the other was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Adel Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are conducting an investigation into this shooting. The findings of the investigation will be provided to the Dallas County Attorney’s Office.

This is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The names of those involved are being withheld at this time.
