After spending time at StoryPoint, Dan Lee is back home and sharing his perspective on the experience, the people who supported him along the way, and the personal and practical considerations that come with deciding where to call home.

We're grateful to have been part of Dan's journey and appreciate his willingness to share such an honest perspective.

Because of some health issues, we spent several months living at StoryPoint, a senior living facility on the Iowa side of the river.

🍎🍂 **A Day of Fall Fun at the Iowa Orchard!** 🍂🍎

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Iowa Orchard, soaking up the autumn atmosphere, enjoying the beautiful fall scenery, and making special memories together! ❤️ Even better, we had the opportunity to gather with our sister communities throughout the Des Moines metro area, sharing laughter, friendship, and the joy of coming together as one big family. 🚌🍁

Days like these remind us that some of the best moments in life are the ones we share with others. We’re so grateful for the memories made and the connections that continue to grow across our StoryPoint family! 🥰

🎃🍿 A Little Halloween Fun & A Trip Down Memory Lane!👻🧡

Our residents had a spooktacular time making their own Halloween trail mix while reminiscing about the good old days! 🍬🍫 Between mixing up tasty treats, we shared stories of playing outside with the neighborhood kids until the sun went down, running up town to grab Mom a loaf of bread, and learning the importance of helping out on the farm. 🚜🍞

Those simple childhood moments turned into some of our favorite memories, filled with laughter, friendship, and a little mischief along the way! ❤️ Sometimes, the sweetest part of an activity is the memories we get to share together.

We loved hearing everyone’s stories and making new memories here at StoryPoint Adel! 🍂✨
