Let the count down continue 💃🏻

Today, Facebook brought this picture back to me from AFRH (Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health) 2023 conference.

I remember that girl.

Sitting there doing the hands-on training, eager to learn, trying to take in as much as possible, not knowing exactly what the years ahead would look like.

And now, three years later, I look at this picture and honestly…

All I can say is GOD DID IT. 🥹🙌🏽

Because there are things you cannot explain by hard work alone.

There were opportunities I didn’t know were coming.
There were doors I didn’t know would open.
There were seasons I questioned myself.
There were moments I wondered if I was really making progress.

But God kept me.

He kept giving me opportunities to learn.
He kept placing people on my path.

And somehow, I’m still here.

Still learning.
Still growing.
Still becoming.

The girl in this picture was learning with so much curiosity.

Today, she has more experience, more knowledge, more confidence and so many more stories to tell.

But one thing hasn’t changed:

I am still a student of this beautiful field.

Embryology has taught me that growth doesn’t always happen loudly.

Sometimes, you look back after a few years and suddenly realize:

“Wow… I’ve actually come a long way.” 🥹

AFRH 2023 ➡️ AFRH 2026.

Different year.
Different version of me.

And now, 9 days to AFRH 2026 in Abuja and not just AFRH but also 2nd AFFS (Africa Federation for Fertility Society)

Imagine learning and connecting not just with Nigerian Scholars but wider Africa

I’m going with a grateful heart.

Ready to learn again.
Ready to connect again.
Ready for new experiences.
Ready for another chapter.

And most importantly…

Ready to see what God has in store.

When I look back, I don’t just see growth.

I see GRACE.

God, thank You for how far You’ve brought me.
And thank You for where You’re taking me. ❤️
