Just a reminder with the rain does not mean we are out of the burn ban. Please no burning still.

Our Cleora firefighters have been around the Cleora area to clear the roadways of downed trees. If you find one we miss, give us a call at 918-782-9100 or send us a message, and we will get to it as quickly as we can.

Some of the area is without power but our hardworking REC crew is out working on this issue, so please give them some time to get this fixed. There was a large portion of power lines down in areas.

Thank you everyone for the patience and the civilians who helped us clear the roadways.

UPDATE

BURN BAN EXTENDED

The Delaware County Burn ban has been extended for an additional 14 days.

DELAWARE COUNTY BURN BAN – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Effective immediately, Delaware County is under a BURN BAN until further notice due to current dry conditions and the increased risk of wildland fires.

Please use extreme caution with anything that could create a spark or ignition source. With the current conditions, even a small fire can quickly spread and threaten homes, property, and lives.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep Delaware County safe.

The burn ban will remain in effect until further notice. Please share to help spread the word.
