Cleora Fire has free life jackets for kids at our fire station. If you need one, come up and grab one or, if you would like to donate some for this cause, we will take them again. These are free life jackets to keep kids' water safe.

Cleora Fire was honored to be part of the 2026 burning of the socks today at Safe Harbor Harbors Marina. We love to meet all the wonderful people we have in our community and make sure everyone is safe during these great events in our community. Safety is our #1 concern.

Cleora Fire's 3rd annual golf tournament turned out great. We would like to thank everyone who was part of it to make it a great turn out, starting with our sponsors, South Grand Vision, for all your eye care needs. Let's support them and go see them. Next Walkers hardware & lumber for all your project needs. Then we have Crace Shores POA Grand Lake, a great area to live in. Finally, Bill & Sherry Wolf, thank you for the contribution. Then we would like to thank the teams & players. We had a total of 15 teams great turn out. Finally, a big thank you to the Coves & the Pro Shop for the use of their facilities and golf course along with their staff. 1st place team was Stanley Steamers, 2nd place team was Ironmen, 3rd place team was Monkey Island. This fundraiser was to help buy our firefighters protective gear to keep them safe and ready for any call.

Big news for the Town of Cleora 👏

On April 15, citizens approved the position of Town Clerk/Treasurer—a step forward that will bring even more accessibility and organization to our community.
Once filled, this role will allow the new Town Office to be open to the public several days each week, making it easier for residents to stay connected and informed.
More details on the Clerk/Treasurer position will be coming soon.
