What if your constant attempts to get rid of anxiety are actually teaching your brain to be more afraid of it?
This is the trap I see all the time:
You feel anxious → you immediately try to fix it → your brain learns that anxiety must mean something is wrong → you become even more vigilant the next time it shows up.
So you scan your body.
Check your breathing.
Analyze why you feel this way.
Search for another technique.
Try to calm yourself down.
And underneath all of it is the same message:
🚨 “This feeling is dangerous. Make it stop.”
But anxiety is a human emotion—not proof that you’re broken.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop making every uncomfortable feeling an emergency.
Feel it.
Let it be there.
Tell yourself the truth about what’s actually happening.
Then put your attention back on the life you want to create.
You don’t have to spend your entire life fixing yourself.
Tomorrow I’m opening the **Elevate Life Creators** Facebook group, where I’ll be teaching practical tools for understanding these patterns and creating change that actually sticks.
If you want in, **take a screenshot of this post, drop it in the comments, and request to join.** I’d love to have you there.
