2026 Independence Celebration at Rt. 66 is always one of our favorites! Hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, ice cream and brownies while enjoying music to dance to and cards to read from Wyandotte elementary students (thank you Jeannie Seigrest).

Rt. 66 Residential Care Home, LLC in Afton will have an employment opportunity at the end of May. The job opening is for a CNA/MAT. Duties would be to pass medication, cook and serve the meal of the shift, client checks every two hours, and a small amount of laundry as needed. The potential employee that we are looking for needs to be compassionate and have a desire to help others. This person will have the opportunity to work anywhere from 16-40 hours a week. If you do not have the training but are interested, training is available. Must pass a background check. Pay would be discussed at an interview and will be based on initial experience with advancement in salary after 90 days. Rt 66 Residential Care Home in Afton will have an opening at the end of May for 1:30-10:00pm through the week (2-3 shifts) shift, and every other weekend 6am-2:30pm 1 or 2 shifts).
Must have CPR, MAT, (if interested but don’t have, training can be provided) and pass background check.
