The world of Financial Aid can be very confusing.

FAFSA will let you know what your Estimated Family Contribution(EFC) is expected to be. However, your FAFSA calculation is not an award letter. Award letters are given out by individual schools. There can be a gap between your EFC and the award a school gives out.
