Checking in with your teen doesn’t always come naturally, and that’s okay.
Sometimes the most supportive thing you can do is ask questions that invite honesty, not judgment.

Try questions like:
✔ How’s your week really going?
✔ What’s something that’s been weighing on you?
✔ What’s one good thing that happened lately?
✔ Who do you turn to when things feel tough?

These openers can help you connect without interrogation, and remind your teen they’re not navigating life alone.
