Back & forth with my neurologist trying to figure out a NEW treatment plan. Ughhhhhhh. 😩

I’ve tried damn near every medication—rescue medications, preventative medications, injections, devices… and I’m still searching for something that will actually give me some relief.

The hardest part is knowing there is NO CURE for migraines. But honestly, another one of the hardest parts is NOT KNOWING WHEN THE NEXT ATTACK WILL COME.

That uncertainty is exhausting.

You can have a good day. You can make plans. You can feel like you’re finally getting back to yourself… and then out of nowhere, a migraine attack can knock you completely off your feet.

I’m tired. I’m frustrated. I’m exhausted from constantly trying to figure out what’s next.

But I’m still here. Still researching. Still asking questions. Still advocating for myself. And still hoping that the next treatment plan will finally give me some relief.

Living with migraines means living with the uncertainty of when the next attack will happen. That’s a battle people don’t always see.
