There’s something special about working side-by-side in the kitchen. ❤️🍪

Today our members spent some time together making (and, of course, sampling 😄) homemade cookies to deliver to local providers as a small token of appreciation.

At Clubhouse Community of Hope, every work activity has a purpose. Whether we’re cooking, organizing, cleaning, or creating, members are building confidence, discovering new skills, and experiencing the joy that comes from contributing in meaningful ways. This is what Clubhouse International Standard #19 is all about—work that fosters purpose, self-worth, and belonging.

One member proudly shared, “I’ve never made cookies from scratch, and it really isn’t that hard. It made me think I can do this.”

Sometimes the sweetest moments aren’t just the cookies—they’re the confidence that’s built along the way. 💙

Clubhouse is committed to helping members with a range of choices of safe, decent and affordable housing including independent living opportunities. (Standard #29) Thank you to Aiken Association of Realtors for the donation that will go directly towards housing efforts at Clubhouse Community of Hope.
