Rivers Edge Assisted Living offers 24-hour trained staff who create a community of friendship and care for all individuals. Our goal is to create an at-home, family atmosphere with many activities, entertainment and gatherings with all residents. Family owned and operated, Rivers Edge has 41 rooms.

✨Meet the Rivers Team✨ Abby Fitzharris- Care Provider

We are so lucky to have Abby as one of our Care Providers here at River’s Edge! 💙

Abby comes to work ready to take on the day and face whatever challenges come her way with a positive attitude and a willingness to help. She is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed, and we truly appreciate the kindness, dedication, and energy she brings to our team. We love having her as part of the River’s Edge family! 🫶

When Abby isn’t at work, you can usually find her outside enjoying the great outdoors! 🌲🎣☀️ She loves hiking, fishing, and swimming, and she especially enjoys finding new 10-mile hikes to tackle with her boyfriend. She definitely knows how to make the most of beautiful weather and an adventure!

Abby shared that she is excited to continue her career here at River’s Edge, and we are just as excited to have her with us! 💙 She is also looking forward to adding a new furry friend to her family soon—a kitten! 🐱

✨Meet the Rivers Edge Team✨ Jordin Peter’s- CNA

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Jordin, one of our wonderful CNAs! 💙

Jordin always comes to work with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She is dedicated to helping our residents and consistently puts her best foot forward in everything she does. Her compassion, willingness to help, and commitment to our residents do not go unnoticed, and we deeply appreciate everything she brings to our team! 🥰

💅 Outside of Work: Jordin loves doing nails!

❤️ Important to Her: Her family and friends

🏆 Accomplishments: Earning her CNA license, becoming CPR certified, and, most importantly, being able to help people when they are in need.

🩺 Future Goals: Jordin hopes to become a nurse someday and would love to pursue a career working in pediatrics! 👶🩺

✨Meet the Rivers Edge Team✨ Glenn Swanson-Cook

Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of our wonderful cooks, Glenn! 👨‍🍳❤️

Glenn has been with us for a little while now and has been such a great addition to the Rivers Edge family! He always comes to work with a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and fantastic teamwork skills. We truly appreciate everything he brings to our team and the care he puts into helping make each day a little better for our residents and staff. 🥰

When Glenn isn’t at work, you can usually find him enjoying some of his favorite hobbies, including fishing, ice fishing, and four-wheeling! He also loves spending time with his family, especially his two great nephews and his niece. ❤️

One of Glenn’s biggest goals for the future is to continue working with the elderly, because caring for and connecting with older adults is truly his passion. He loves knowing that something as simple as spending a few minutes visiting with a resident can brighten their entire day. Seeing them happy makes Glenn happy, and that genuine compassion is something we are so grateful to have here at Rivers Edge. 💙
