Meet Alan Favier, a Family Nurse Practitioner who brings his passion for rural healthcare to our community!

Starting as an EMT and spending six years as an ER nurse at McKee Medical Center, Alan discovered his calling during clinical training in our community. The opportunity to care for multiple generations of families and address unique rural healthcare challenges drew him back to establish his practice here.

Alan recently developed expertise in weight management medicine, combining his acute care background with comprehensive family medicine. When he's not caring for patients, you'll find him with his family or volunteering with Search and Rescue and the American Red Cross.

We're grateful to have a provider who truly understands and is committed to our community's healthcare needs!

Dr. Caitlin Ahern brings 25+ years of experience to our community! After her residency at Fort Collins Family Medicine in 1996, Dr. Ahern served at Yuma District Hospital and has been with the Akron Clinic since 2006. Her background spans family practice, urgent care, and advanced hormone replacement therapy, and she is a certified Medical Director for nursing home care. Dr. Ahern’s rural and urban experience ensures personalized, comprehensive care for all.
