My clinical orientation is Integrative Trauma-Informed Systemic Therapy, grounded in the biopsychosocial model. I understand clients within the context of their lived experiences, relationships, culture, and systemic environments. I integrate evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, while also drawing from relational and experiential methods such as EFT, Gestalt, and Imago.
I maintain a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing safety, empowerment, and collaborative meaning-making. DBT principles guide much of my skills work, especially in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. My practice emphasizes both symptom reduction and long-term growth, with attention to resilience, post-traumatic growth, and advocacy when systemic or legal barriers impact client well-being.
Ultimately, my approach is client-centered, adaptive, and justice-oriented, seeking not only to reduce distress but also to strengthen relationships, autonomy, and access to supportive systems.
