Trauma doesn't always look like reliving the past. Sometimes it looks like staying on high alert, even when there isn't an immediate threat. Over time, constantly anticipating what could go wrong can make it difficult to fully relax, trust the present moment, or feel at ease.

With more than 20 years of experience across clinical, operational, and executive leadership roles, Kristen has dedicated her career to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health care. Prior to joining Sero, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Refresh Mental Health, overseeing a nationwide network of more than 320 locations. Her experience also includes leadership roles supporting the growth of eating disorder, substance use, and mental health treatment programs across the country.
