Christine Uomini Health Services: Certified Iridologist, Herb Specialist and Bowen Practitioner (certification early I am a certified iridologist. This practice is holistic.

I look at the irises, the colored portion of your eyes, and interpret the markings. I map both the left iris and the right iris, to determine weaknesses and strengths of the body. The markings determine the strategy you choose for your healing. A thorough one on one discussion with you, the client, creates a clear picture of how to help on health issues, understand genetic heritage, and understand underlying causes of symptoms to regain control of one's body. Food, herbs, supplements and lifestyle changes are used or implemented to achieve wellness. Education is a key component in understanding how to achieve wellness. Help with migraines, acid reflux, diabetes, insulin resistance, sleep, chronic fatigue & more. This business was established to help people understand how they can help themselves, their family and friends with their health issues. Assessments: Biological Terrain Assessment, Chinese Elements, and iridology. The Bowen technique is an alternative type of bodywork I have been doing for a couple of years and will be certified for in early 2015. This business was established in San Francisco and continues there as well as in Alameda, Ca. Please call or email for an appointment.

I agree about this plant, Mullein.

When one herb keeps showing up around breathing, mucus, throat comfort, and airway wellness, it’s worth knowing its name. I shared the simple way I’d approach mullein below.

When I do heel drop exercises, ( for bone health ) I also add voice to the exercise. I was told to use the words "Pom, Pom" so the vibrations go through the body both directions. There is the heel strike from the floor going up and there's the voice sound going down toward the floor from the mouth. It's a daily practice and I do 30 of them. I'm considering doing more than 30.

The heel drop exercise provides a safe and controlled impact that can help stimulate bone growth in your lower body and hips without the heavy joint stress of running or jumping. Lightly rest your fingertips on it.Place your feet about hip-width apart with your toes pointing forward.Keep your knees relaxed and unlocked—do not lock or hyperextend them.Engage your lower stomach muscles and keep your posture tall, stacking your head directly over your shoulders.Rise up onto the balls of your feet as high as you comfortably can.Quickly and firmly drop your heels back down to the floor, letting a gentle impact travel up through your legs and hips.Aim for 10 to 15 repetitions per set, working up to a daily total of 75 to 100 impacts over time.
