We're honored to share that the Diana Cantu Memorial 5K raised over $10K to support local cancer care and families impacted by cancer here in the San Luis Valley💙

The loving family and friends of Diana Cantu gathered on Saturday, July 25, to honor her memory with a heartfelt 5K Walk/Run. Diana passed away on September 3, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. The event brought together 110 participants and raised an incredible $10,520.

Thanks to the generosity of more than 250 attendees, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, the 2026 Bolos & Boots fundraiser and made it the largest fundraising event in SLV Health Foundation history💙 We're deeply grateful to this community, for making this event a success and continuing to support healthcare in the San Luis Valley!

On Friday, July 17, 2026, more than 250 guests gathered at the Outcalt Event & Conference Center at the SLV Ski Hi Complex in Monte Vista. Together, attendees helped raise more than $210,000, making Bolos & Boots the largest fundraising event in Foundation history.
