Loki is looking for a Foster Home!

This handsome 80-pound boy is looking for a foster home while he searches for his forever family.

Loki was originally adopted from SafeHaven back in May. He was incredibly loved by his owner, but while they were at work, Loki would get a little lonely and wander over to the neighbors’ house hoping to play with the kids. Unfortunately, because of his size, the children were scared of him, and Loki’s owner eventually had to make the incredibly difficult decision to rehome him.

Loki likes other dogs, does well with cats, and absolutely loves people! He does have some separation anxiety and prefers to spend his time with people whenever possible. He is a very well-behaved boy, and we hoped he would find a new home quickly. But almost two weeks later, Loki is still waiting.

And he’s not doing well in the shelter.

Loki is quickly becoming depressed. He spends much of his day lying in his bed, often doesn’t even lift his head when people walk by, and lately, he hasn’t been very interested in treats.

We know the shelter isn’t the right place for this sweet boy. What Loki needs is a home where he can relax, feel loved, and be part of a family while we continue searching for his forever home.
