Long before wellness became a trend, elderberry was a staple in traditional herbal practices. These tiny, dark berries have been used for generations in seasonal wellness preparations and herbal remedies.

So what makes elderberry so special?

The Back To School Yuckies are definitely in full effect… so I’m doing everything I can to keep it away from this house!!
I was going to wait until this weekend.. but seeing so many posting about being sick.. I thought I might better go ahead and get started…

This is Elderberry Syrup…A deeply nourishing and potent elixir for immunity support.
Made with wild crafted elderberries, a powerful and gentle blend of different plant allies such as Mullein Leaf for respiratory relief, Slippery Elm Bark to help decrease mucus formation, Star Anise for its anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-viral properties, as well as raw local honey, a few other spices and herbs and lots of love.
This syrup is a POWERHOUSE for cold, flu and allergy season as these plants have been used for centuries to help with the common cold, seasonal allergies, influenza virus, soothe sore throats, fever, cough and seasonal ick!!
Studies have even shown that elderberry is very effective in treating the Rona and Star Anise has been proven to help combat several different strains of flu.

Back to school has officially hit South GA… and already we’re seeing an influx of strep, colds, COVID and ALL the yuckies. 😷🤧

So this weekend, we’ll be whipping up a batch of our Cold & Flu Soak! 🌿🛁

Think of this as our natural, herbal version of that classic chest-rub feeling — without all the unnecessary ingredients you’ll find in so many store-bought products.

Here’s why we LOVE this recipe…

🌿 Eucalyptus + Peppermint — that cool, refreshing aroma can help you feel like you’re breathing a little easier when you’re stuffy and congested.

🌿 Lavender — calming, soothing and perfect for winding down when you’re feeling under the weather.

🌿 Tea Tree — traditionally used in herbal and aromatherapy preparations for its fresh, cleansing properties.

🛁 Epsom Salt — makes for a wonderfully relaxing soak and can help soothe tired, achy muscles.

✨ Baking Soda — helps soften the water and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Basically… it’s the “I feel like absolute garbage, somebody run me a hot bath” soak. 😂

Add ¼–½ cup to a warm bath, soak for about 20 minutes, breathe in those soothing aromatics, and then go curl up under a blanket and REST. 🤎

Because back-to-school season is hard enough without bringing home every bug in South Georgia. 😩
