Welcome baby Harvey!

He is the second baby for Chantal and Trever and was born at their home in Albany on June 5.

He weighed in at 7lb, 7oz.

This was the second birth we've done for Chantal and we were so happy to be asked to be her midwives again!

Birth attended by Liz, Bailey, and Bonnie.

Welcome babies Charles and Lewis!

These cute guys are the fifth and sixth babies for Sydney and Nathan and were born at their home in Dayton on June 10th (at 40 weeks)!

We had done two previous home births for Sydney, and when she found out at the beginning of this pregnancy that she was having twins, we offered her the option of a home birth or us supporting her in the hospital setting.

She chose to give birth to her boys at home.

Hannah caught the babies, with Liz and Julia there as the other midwives.

Birth assistant/doula support from Amy G and Bonnie

Lewis was 6lb, 14oz and Charles was 7 pounds even!

If you’re pregnant, have recently given birth, or are dealing with pregnancy-related conditions, you may have questions about what rights and protections you have at work.

Our new committee statement on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) gives ob-gyns an overview of the law and more information about what it covers. The PWFA is a law that requires covered employers to provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant and postpartum employees. It supports people who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or are experiencing any related medical conditions that affect their ability to work.

Your ob-gyn and other health care professionals on your care team can help you access support and understand your legal rights. Talk with your ob-gyn to learn more.
