“I became an endocrinologist to better use my PhD in cell biology and genetics directly in patient care. Endocrinology is an evolving and fast-moving specialty that opens doors for continuing intellectual stimulation and the ability to directly help the healing process in patients," says Dr. Zhou.
Dr. Zhou is the medical director of Endocrinology. She treats diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, high blood sugar and adrenal disorders. She also performs thyroid ultrasounds and ACTH stimulation.
