We’re still reminiscing about our Making More Memories event featuring the Grapevine Band. It was an evening filled with laughter, music, dancing, and meaningful moments shared with so many wonderful people in our community. Every part of the night reminded us how special it is to come together and create lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable. Your support of the Dementia Support Center means so much and allows us to continue providing encouragement, connection, and resources to individuals and families impacted by dementia. Nights like these are a beautiful reminder that the best memories are often made together.

The Sowega Council on Aging is seeking a Long-Term Care Ombudsman. This position promotes the well-being and quality of care and life of residents of long-term care facilities by: receiving, investigating, and documenting resident complaints / problems and requests for information. This employee works out of an office in the employee’s residence and travels to assigned locations.
