The Albany Police Department would like to share an important contact update for Project Lifesaver.

Project Lifesaver is a program designed to assist in locating individuals who are at risk of wandering or becoming lost due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, autism, or other cognitive impairments. Participants are provided with a personalized tracking device that can help trained responders quickly locate them if they wander.

Cpl. Lashana Hudson will now serve as the primary contact for Project Lifesaver inquiries.

Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking African American/Black families in Albany, Georgia, to participate in a FREE Family Diabetes Prevention Program designed to help families build healthier lifestyles together.

Who Can Participate?
* Parent or guardian who has pre-diabetes or is at risk for Type 2 diabetes
* African American/Black families residing in the Albany area
* Families with children between the ages of 8–15 years

What You'll Receive
✅ Practical strategies for healthy living
✅ Interactive, family-centered activities
✅ Support for creating lasting healthy habits
