This simple stretch can be done standing, seated, or in a chair! It enhances spinal awareness and releases tightness in the shoulders, neck, and upper back. It promotes relaxation, de-stressing the mind and body.

Did You Know. . . 7/28/26 Class – Ease for Neck & Shoulders
Many of us carry the weight of our daily responsibilities in our neck and shoulders, creating tension that can leave us feeling stiff, tired, and disconnected from our bodies. Simple stretches, shoulder-opening postures, and relaxation practices can help soften tight muscles, improve posture, and restore a sense of spaciousness throughout the upper body. Yoga offers a gentle and effective way to release this accumulated stress through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and increased awareness.

Did You Know. . . 7/21/26 Class – Advice From a Cat
If a cat could offer yoga wisdom, it might say: stretch often, rest without guilt, stay curious, and always land in the present moment. Cats move with grace and awareness whether they are playing, exploring, or napping in a patch of sunlight. They remind us of the yogic practice of balance—knowing when to be active and when to be still. This month, take a lesson from our feline friends: pause to enjoy simple pleasures, listen to your inner wisdom, and approach each day with both curiosity and contentment. Sometimes the path to peace is as simple as a deep stretch, a quiet moment, and a comfortable place to rest.
