We are proud to announce that we have hired LINK UP VETS Founder Michael Aaron as Executive Director of the Mid-Willamette Family YMCA Veterans Housing and Veterans Resource Center!

Michael has worked for Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI) in Millersburg since 2020. He holds credentials as a Journeyman Inside Wireman, earned in 2015 through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 280 Union. He enlisted in the Marine Corps after 9/11 and was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines from 2002 to 2008, serving as an infantry machine gun squad leader, S3 operations NCO, and with a Scout sniper team on multiple combat-decorated deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

"I am honored to be selected for this position," Michael said. "I have a deep passion for Veterans, and the fact that this facility has a Resource Center with three full-time staff who will serve the Vets is a huge bonus. Veterans' residents will benefit greatly from the services we will provide."

Calling all vendors! Join us this November for the YMCA Holiday Craft Fair! 🎄

On Saturday, November 7th, from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM, our YMCA is hosting our annual Holiday Craft Fair, where community members shop for unique gifts, support local artisans, and enjoy the magic of the season. Vendor spots are available: $50 for a 10x10 space, $10 for a table, and $5 for electricity.

Little Y Dancers (ages 5-8) and Y Dancers (ages 9-12) are exciting dance classes featuring ballet, creative movement, jazz, and hip-hop! Kids will have a blast while developing creativity, coordination, musicality, and listening skills. Plus, they'll get to learn choreography to perform for family and friends on the last day!
