This Thursday, July 9th:
Introduction to the Chakras
6:30pm - 8:30pm

Attend this class for an overview of all the chakras before attending an individual chakra class (more classes for each chakra to come). Decide which of your chakras needs attention and healing...

This workshop is a lively and informative introduction to the chakra system with an opportunity for students to open and energize through a guided meditation. The initial segment includes discussion of a “Table of Correspondences” which illustrates clearly the principles of each of the seven major centers of energy in the body as discussed in the many writings of Anodea Judith. Discussion includes the qualities of each chakra as they relate to the light spectrum, the elements, the physical body, and glandular system. The behavioral characteristics of balanced, excessive and deficient chakras are offered with insights into illnesses, child development, negative emotions, past trauma and restrictive patterning as they relate to awakening of the true Self and healing. The teaching and discussion are followed by a guided meditation which opens and investigates the individual chakras using light and color. The meditation concludes with introspective writing which leads to group sharing to complete the period of integration. References for further study are provided on the handout as well the teacher’s contact information for lingering questions.
