We want to share an important update with our clients and community.
After careful consideration, our practice has made the difficult decision to discontinue participation with CareSource.
Like many behavioral health providers across Georgia, our practice has been significantly impacted by recent reimbursement reductions and payment clawbacks. These unexpected financial changes have made it increasingly difficult to sustainably provide the high-quality care our clients deserve while maintaining the resources needed to support our clinicians and staff.
This was not a decision we made lightly. We understand the effect this may have on individuals and families who rely on CareSource, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for those who are affected.
The attached article provides additional information about the broader issues impacting behavioral health providers throughout our state and the challenges many practices are facing.
If you are a current client with CareSource, our team will be reaching out to discuss your options and answer any questions you may have.
We are grateful for the trust our clients place in us and remain committed to providing compassionate, quality mental health care to our community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Clawbacks and rate cuts have hit psychologists who diagnose children with autism and other conditions in Georgia, angering state lawmakers.
