Meet Stevi Thompson, Systems Program Manager at Phoebe Foundation!
For the past nine years, Stevi has worked behind the scenes to help turn the Foundation’s goals into action. She spearheads the systems, programs, and processes that keep the team moving forward as they raise funds for Phoebe and make a meaningful difference for patients, caregivers, and communities across Southwest Georgia.
Stevi’s path to healthcare philanthropy began through her work with the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development in Turner County. Her passion for seeing Southwest Georgia thrive made Phoebe Foundation a natural fit, an opportunity to strengthen healthcare while investing in the region she is proud to call home.
Recently, the mission has become even more personal. As a newly diagnosed cancer patient, Stevi has experienced firsthand how donor-funded equipment, programs, and resources support patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. The journey has deepened her gratitude for Phoebe, its caregivers, and the generous community that helps make this care possible.
For Stevi, the best part of coming to work is the people. She describes her teammates as more than just coworkers, they are an extension of family who work hard, support one another, and share a genuine commitment to the mission.
Originally from North Carolina, Stevi has lived in Turner County for 22 years. When she isn’t working, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and son. Her family also has a small cattle operation that keeps them busy and connected to the rural way of life that they love.
