The Moon and Jupiter both dislike being in the sign of Capricorn because its ruler Saturn, restricts, delays and depresses. The Moon changes signs every 2.5 days, implying quick changing emotions. Jupiter must always be prepared to take flight, for his quest to evolve and expand demands it. Our emotions can sometimes overwhelm. They can represent feelings from the past. They can tap into previous injustices felt in childhood. The Moon can represent where we find safety. In connection with Jupiter, we can find comfort in traveling (with the body and mind,) spirituality, learning and passing along the wisdom generously. Look to the house where Moon and Jupiter sit as well as your Cancer, Sagittarius and Pisces houses because these themes also blend into your interpretation here. The houses will represent where this energy is taking place in your life. The house of your Moon will show you where you find safety.
The body can feel emotions before the mind is able to translate it. Exercise can be a good way to incorporate balance and stability. During exercise, we are having a conversation with the body; how much movement can you handle today? Can you push further than you did yesterday? Can we achieve a personal record? Okay, let's take a break, breathe in, breathe out, we're okay, keep going. With consistency, these conversations become the foundation of a connection with your inner compass. You learn how to manage the waves of emotion in a way that expands your emotional intelligence.

Mercury represented by Hermes, was the son of Zeus and a well known messenger on the path to the underworld. Mercury is neither diurnal or nocturnal, neither masculine or feminine and has no place, no "second home" other than the signs he rules. The road is his home. His skill was in transcending the boundaries of the material and spiritual realms, while gathering knowledge along his path. He connects and unified even through arguments. To those unable to traverse the boundaries of light and dark, he is a spark of awareness to hidden knowledge.
But before Hermes, there was Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow and the primary messenger to Zeus and Hera. She performed important tasks for the Gods while Hermes took a smaller role. Iris traveled with prayers and warnings to those in need, summoning the Gods of wind to answer their requests. By the time the Odyssey was written, Hermes took the primary role of messenger and Iris was deemed servant to Hera. Iris used the power of color as a bridge between heaven and earth. Her wings so delicate, it seems they were made of light. She often spoke through her use of color. Using yellows, the color of the sun to symbolize hope and optimism. Blues for peace and introspection. Purples for wisdom and divinity. Gold to represent the Gods and her magical prowess. We can speak through multiple senses, utilizing every creative element at our disposal.

Mars square Pluto is within 3° of perfecting their aspect. Try cooking or baking to utilize this Mars energy of heat in a creative way. Ta**us, an earth sign responds well to the comfort that food can provide during stressful times. Use ingredients that will sustain the body long-term. This will call to the Mars synodic cycle in Capricorn on 1/9/26 where we made promises to alter our actions based on sustainable living. Venus was also present during this promise, when she conjoined with Mars and the Sun on 1/6/26 and through food we can call to Venus. Mars may make better choices if he is well fed.

Zeus carries an optimism that can be easily misinterpreted as foolish, but Zeus has faced his share of challenges. In fact, his life was birthed in chaos. His father Kronos was given a prophecy the one of his children would overthrow him. He was born with great responsibility on his shoulders, to grow up without his family, building strength and courage daily, in order to fulfill his fate and rescue his siblings. He has always had an inner knowing that was stronger than his doubt, the psychic energy of fire, lighting his way through every conflict.
When the blood of Uranus was shed to birth giants who destroyed land and men, Zeus did not give up. How could he? When the Gods are calling, we must answer. But he wouldn’t fight alone, he called for backup, leaning on the God of Strength, Heracles and the Goddess of Strategy Athena. Their unity defeated the giants and secured Zeus’ role as the divine Protector of the Gods.

Prometheus is the Greek Titan who sacrificed his life to bring down fire from the heavens to humanity down below. Fire represents humanity’s awareness and evolution. What did they think when first seeing fire? What kind of sorcery is this? Think about the improvements to their quality of life. Now they are able to stay warm, boil water, cook meals, blend minerals and protect themselves with this new element.
According to Carl Jung, fire is responsible for the core of psychic energy and it moves spontaneously, in ways to inspire. This energy needs freedom to explore its identity as a channel for life. During this transit, the rational mind detaches from the system, now inspired to walk a different path. We are more open, of two minds, thinking expansively, gathering ideas, seeking a community that looks at life from a different perspective. How can we channel the inspiration of Uranus through our voice, ideas, writing and work? How can we encourage our neighbors and community to carry on despite the uncertainty of the future? Who will be the bringer of hope to our children?

While engaging in rhythmic and melodic sounds of music, our mind anticipates the next sound based on past experiences (predictive coding.) Our threat centers become relaxed, reducing paranoia. We are not as negative, we find a safe container for our emotions. It also encourages less isolation when we realize that we are not the only one to experience a particular emotion. The chill that we experience during certain songs is a neurological event, an involuntary goosebump or shivering sensation when we arrive at a profound moment. Our body is saying, this message is for me.
This impacts the brain’s reward system in a similar way to food and positive social interactions. Technology has been developed to use EEG signals to determine which sounds trigger pleasure responses. If you become aware of how music impacts your mood, body and mind, you can create your own playlist of songs to move yourself (for free.) Create several and name them based on mood and focus on how you can move that particular emotion to a place of peace and release.
