Strive Spinal Health

Strive Spinal Health Radically redefining the way healthcare is delivered and experienced in Albemarle, NC. Today, it is very common for people to be sick and unhealthy.

At Strive Spinal Health, we know that you want to be at peak condition so that you can live life at the highest level. It has become "normal". Unfortunately, most people stay stuck at “normal” physical and mental levels because of
nagging health issues that they can’t seem to resolve. It’s frustrating and stressful to put
in hours of effort and not see the results that you should be getting. We

believe everyone should be able to move past “normal” and experience breakthrough
in health and performance. We understand how frustrating it is to manage pain and never get past chronic physical
and mental issues. That’s why we started Strive Spinal Health. At Strive, we can improve your brain-to-body communication and help alleviate numerous health conditions by correcting the alignment of the top two bones in your neck. When your neck is aligned, it has a profound impact on all of your body’s systems. Here’s how you can get started on your journey to optimal health and performance:
1. Schedule a free consultation.
2. Receive a physical exam and X-rays of your neck.
3. Start a Care Plan to get on the path to full health. So schedule a free consultation now. Don’t spend another year stuck in the same unhealthy patterns. Don’t spend another day
dealing with pain and chronic health issues. Redefine your normal.

Active August is about more than exercise. It is about the real-life activities you want your body to keep up with.

For some people, that means getting through a round of golf without feeling stiff afterward. For others, it is walking, lifting groceries, keeping up with kids or grandkids, gardening, pickleball, workouts, work demands, or the back-to-school routine.

At Strive, we want your care to connect to your life.

Active August is not only about sports and workouts. It is also about the daily demands placed on your neck.

Long drives, phone use, computer work, lifting bags, back-to-school routines, workouts, and stress can all contribute to neck tension and limited motion. When your neck is not moving well, it may affect how comfortably you turn your head, look over your shoulder, work at a desk, exercise, or get through your day.

Neck decompression therapy is one service we may recommend after an evaluation. It uses gentle traction-based support for appropriate patients when mechanical neck stress, restricted motion, or related findings are present.

This does not mean neck decompression is right for everyone. It also does not replace a proper exam. At Strive, we look at your symptoms, posture, range of motion, muscle guarding, activity demands, and overall presentation before recommending a care option.

For some patients, neck decompression may be paired with adjustments or other care to support better movement quality and comfort.

Active August takeaway: your neck is part of your active lifestyle. If turning, driving, working, or exercising has started to feel harder than it should, it may be time to get checked.

Pain is often what gets our attention, but it is not always the first sign that your body is under stress.

During Active August, we want to help you pay attention to function before pain becomes the loudest signal. When spinal motion becomes restricted, your body may start working around it. That compensation can show up as stiffness after yard work, one-sided tightness after a workout, a shorter stride when walking, difficulty rotating during golf, neck tension after driving, or knee discomfort after stairs and pickleball.

This is where a function-first chiropractic evaluation matters.

At Strive, we are not only asking, “Where does it hurt?” We are looking at how your spine is moving, how your posture is adapting, where muscles are guarding, and whether your body is using compensation patterns to get through daily activity.

For some patients, chiropractic adjustments may be recommended to support joint motion, alignment, and movement quality. For others, decompression therapy, SoftWave Therapy, or additional support may be a better fit based on the findings.

Active August reminder: your body gives signals before it completely stops you. Pay attention to the little changes before they turn into bigger limitations.

August is here, and our theme at Strive Spinal Health is Active August: Keep Your Body in the Game.

In July, we talked discussed travel routines, hydration, digestion-supporting habits, and nervous-system stress. This month, we will be talking about the movement demands that can show up during the last stretch of summer: yard work, golf, pickleball, workouts, long drives, work stress, back-to-school routines, and trying to stay active when your body feels stiff or limited.

Throughout the month, we’ll be educating on how chiropractic care and the services we offer can fit into a function-first plan.

Not every patient needs every service. At Strive, the first step is always understanding what your body is showing us, what activities matter to you, and which service best fits the findings.

This month, let’s focus on staying active, moving well, and keeping your body in the game.

Comment with one activity you want to keep doing comfortably this month!

At your next visit, we are looking for more than “where does it hurt?”

We are looking at motion quality, posture patterns, upper cervical function, muscle guarding, recovery habits, and what has changed since your last visit. Those details help us support your care plan and keep the conversation focused on function.

For July’s Travel Well, Digest Well theme, we are especially reminding patients that routine matters. Movement, hydration, breathing, rest, and consistency all support the bigger wellness picture.

Finish the month strong by visiting our website or calling us at 704-982-8228 to schedule an evaluation today.

At Strive, we look at function: how you move, where you compensate, what your posture is doing, and what stressors your daily routine is placing on your body. From there, your plan may include adjustments, upper cervical care, wellness care, and simple lifestyle reminders that support consistency.

Schedule an evaluation or care plan review by calling the office today at 704-982-8228.

Is your body adapting, or is it compensating?

A busy summer schedule can make it harder to tell. You may be traveling more, sleeping differently, eating differently, sitting longer, or skipping the routines that usually help you feel your best. A wellness check gives us a chance to look at motion, posture, muscle guarding, upper cervical function, and how your body is handling daily stress.

Close out the month of July by scheduling a wellness check this week! Call the office at 704-982-8228 or visit our website at www.strivespinalhealth.com for more information.

Sometimes the best invitation is simple: “Come get checked.”

If someone you care about has been feeling stiff after travel, stressed by a busy summer schedule, or off their normal wellness routine, invite them to start with a function-first conversation. We will not make promises or guess. We will evaluate, listen, and recommend what is appropriate.

This month’s Travel Well, Digest Well theme is about supporting the routines that help the body function better: movement, hydration, breathing, rest, posture, and consistent care.

Call the office at 704-982-8228 today to reserve a spot or ask about the next opening.
