Join us in welcoming Joanna Willson to Taylor House!

She is our new Assistant Administrator. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our community, including past work at other assistant living campuses as well as experience with adults with cognitive disabilities and dementia.

Originally from his area, Joanna lives in Lexington. Please make her feel welcome in the comments!

This morning we hosted an open house event to celebrate the recent renovations at Taylor House. This historic building turns 100 this year, so we knew we wanted to do it justice.

The common areas were newly decorated and a stairwell and elevator addition created. ThriveMore has plans to update the rooms slowly in the coming years as well.

Huge thanks to CIC Interiors, Blum Construction and SFCS Architects for their hard work that yielded such beautiful results. And thank you to the Taylor House team for hosting, and Chef Eric Nooe for the delicious refreshments.

Our ThriveMore Board of Trustees meets quarterly to help guide the organization. Last week, they met in Albemarle in order to spend time at Taylor House.

The board got to tour the recent renovations, including the new elevator and stairwell as well as a facelift on the second and third floor common spaces.

We're thankful for our board members who ensure we stay on track in our mission to create communities where our residents and team members to thrive!
