💙 THANK YOU, TIDAL WAVE AUTO SPA! 💙

We are thrilled to announce that $2,594.15 was raised for GHA Autism Supports during Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s 18th Annual Charity Day at the Albemarle location on September 18th! GHA received 50% of the proceeds raised at this location, and these funds will continue to support our mission of providing quality services that meet the unique needs of individuals with autism..

This year’s Charity Day was a record-breaker for Tidal Wave Auto Spa, with 319 participating locations! Over the event’s 18-year history, Tidal Wave has donated more than $3.5 million to charitable organizations in communities across the country. What an incredible impact!

We are so grateful for Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to making a difference in the communities they serve. Thank you to the Albemarle team, our GHA team members and everyone who participated, purchased a wash, and helped make this year’s Charity Day such a success! 💙

🍂☀️ Fall Fun in Wilmington! 🍁🍃

Our GHA Autism Supports Wilmington residents have been making the most of this beautiful fall season with plenty of fun, friendship, and opportunities to get out and enjoy the community! From soaking up the sunshine and enjoying fun times at Carolina Beach to getting in on the action with bocce ball through Special Olympics, our residents have been creating wonderful memories, staying active, and enjoying time together.

At GHA, we believe that meaningful experiences, community connections, and opportunities to try new things make life richer and more rewarding. We love seeing our residents enjoying everything the season has to offer! Here’s to more adventures, laughter, and making memories together!💙

Individuals from the GHA Autism Supports Day Program in Albemarle had a wonderful time enjoying an outing at the Thomas Family Corn Maze! From exploring the maze to enjoying the beautiful fall weather, it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and making great memories!

We’re grateful to the Thomas family for welcoming our individuals and to our GHA direct support staff for helping make their day so special!

❤️Celebrating the Heart of GHA!❤️

As we wrapped up our Direct Support Professional Appreciation efforts for September, we want to take one more opportunity to celebrate the incredible people who make GHA Autism Supports what it is.

Throughout the month, we enjoyed showing our appreciation in a variety of ways—including delivering pizza to all of our sites for everyone to enjoy! 🍕 It was a small way for us to say a very big THANK YOU to the dedicated professionals who show up every day with compassion, patience, commitment, and heart.

But the fun isn’t over just yet! 🎉 Plans are already underway for additional staff celebration events in November, giving us even more opportunities to recognize and honor the people who make such a difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve!

To every DSP and frontline team member: Thank you for all you do, all you give, and all the lives you touch. We appreciate you more than words can say! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Albemarle for allowing GHA Autism Supports to benefit from the annual Charity Day on Friday, September 18th! 💙 The weather was hot, but that didn’t stop hundreds of vehicles from parading through the car wash and so many generous customers from dropping cash donations into our buckets!

We are incredibly grateful to the Tidal Wave and GHA teams, our amazing volunteers, and everyone who supported GHA today. Your generosity makes a difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.❤️

We had a fabulous GHA Art Show reception this week at First Presbyterian Church in Albemarle featuring stunning artwork by individuals we support at GHA! Creative paintings and fireworks that glittered honored our Nation’s spirit and history. A special thank you to our GHA artists for sharing their talents with everyone and direct care staff for helping with artwork and accompanying our folks to the reception! In addition, we appreciate the First Presbyterian Church staff and members for allowing us to showcase our artwork and providing a wonderful reception, Second Street Sundries for the delicious fruit and vegetable trays, and our parents, guardians and community for supporting our artists!
