**I’m Making the Switch — and I’m Really Excited About This One**
I’ve always been particular about the products I use in my treatment room. Our skin matters, ingredients matter, and I believe the products I use on my clients should be chosen with the same intention I bring to the massage itself.
That’s why I’ve decided to make the switch to **Rebel Massage**.
What drew me to Rebel wasn’t just the ingredient list. It was the person and philosophy behind it.
Rebel Massage was created by longtime massage therapist and educator **Allison Denney**. She understands our profession because she has spent decades doing the work herself—and she has also dedicated a huge part of her career to educating other massage therapists about anatomy, technique, movement, and becoming better, more thoughtful practitioners.
Her products were created with that same mindset.
Rather than traditional lotions filled with water and ingredients needed simply to maintain that type of formula, Rebel creates small-batch massage butters, cremes, and oils using thoughtfully selected botanicals and essential oils. The different formulas are designed not only for how they feel on the skin, but for the type of bodywork being performed.
And THAT is what really spoke to me.
I don't want essential oils in my treatment room simply because they smell nice. I want to understand what I'm using, why I'm using it, and what purpose an ingredient may serve.
I’m passionate about being more conscious of what we put on our skin and reducing unnecessary ingredients wherever possible. If I have the opportunity to choose a cleaner, thoughtfully formulated product created specifically for massage therapists—by a massage therapist—that's a change I feel good about making.
I also love that Rebel Massage is about so much more than products. Allison has created an incredible library of articles, anatomy education, massage tutorials, podcasts, and continuing education. Her emphasis on staying curious, understanding the body, and continually growing as a therapist really resonates with me.
So you may start noticing some new products in the treatment room. 🌿
It’s a small change you might not immediately see, but it represents something that is very important to me:
**Being intentional about what I use, continuing to educate myself, and always looking for ways to provide better care for the people who trust me with their bodies.**
Build better sessions with massage therapy products and education. Bodywork oils, butters, massage lotions and emulsions + CE courses, and massage tutorials, all created by Allison Denney.
