Angel is a CCMA with 13 years of experience in healthcare, and she truly loves taking care of her patients and making them feel comfortable and cared for. 🫶

🇺🇸 Labor Day Holiday Reminder! 🇺🇸

Our Dove locations will be CLOSED for Labor Day while our team takes a well-deserved day to rest and recharge.

If something comes up over the holiday that can’t wait until we reopen, our providers will still be available to help with your healthcare needs. ❤️

Meet Your Dove Team!

Meet Lauren! A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2020. Her professional experience also includes serving as a clinical adjunct faculty member and simulation instructor at Gadsden State Community College, where she enjoyed supporting and educating the next generation of nurses. Lauren currently practices part-time as a Family Nurse Practitioner, providing individualized care to patients with a variety of healthcare needs.
Lauren values the provider-patient relationship and believes quality healthcare begins with making people feel seen, heard, and valued. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and confident in their care. Her goal is to combine clinical knowledge with compassion and thoughtful communication to provide personalized care that not only addresses patients' health needs but also helps improve their overall quality of life.

It’s bittersweet for me to finally post here and say that I’m going to miss everyone here at Dove Family Health.

As our patients know (after letters and emails), tomorrow is my last day as the owner and physician at Dove Family Health. After much thought and prayer, I am selling my practice to DeKalb MD. Closing is set for tomorrow, Lord willing.

I have full confidence that the DeKalb MD team will help make this a smooth transition for everyone. Everyone else at the office remains the same.

Here at Dove, we have built an AMAZING team together and I love each of you DEEPLY. I’m so PROUD of each of you.

I also love each and every one of my patients and I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me and the Dove Family with your health all these years.

If you would like to come see me this afternoon, Thursday, July 30th, to stop in and say goodbye, I’ll be at the main clinic lobby from 4pm until perhaps around 6pm. I’ll be seeing a few patients tomorrow and further training my replacement providers. Please keep us all in your prayer during this transition.

I wish Dekalb MD all the success in the world. May God receive the glory.

I will be starting my exciting new professional opportunity at Renew Family Dermatology in Fort Payne on August 10th. If you have any dermatology needs, come see me there one day. I’ll be there ready to take care of the RFD patients and to serve the Lord in that capacity with my whole heart.

Dove will be closed Monday 5/25 in honor of Memorial Day. We appreciate the many sacrifices our servicemen and servicewomen have given to keep us the Land of the Free. Blessings to all. We will reopen normal hours on Tuesday.

Those of you that come under the care of our Dove Family KNOW that we love and care for our patient members like you were our own family. And that is tangible. We probably “baby” way too many of you members out there (and “get onto” some of you when you need it from time to time, too)!
