If you've seen recent headlines about Cyclospora outbreaks in the U.S. and are suddenly side-eyeing your lunch, you're not alone. 🥗

Cyclospora is a parasite that can cause a foodborne illness called cyclosporiasis, often linked to contaminated fresh produce. Symptoms may include:
Nausea
Frequent diarrhea
Stomach cramps
Fatigue
Low-grade fever

The tricky part? Symptoms may not show up until several days, or over a week, after exposure.

The good news: cyclosporiasis is treatable, and you don't have to spend hours searching your symptoms online trying to figure out what's going on.

Our AUC Albertville team will remain OPEN with normal business hours on Monday, May 26, ready to care for our community throughout the holiday weekend.
