HEAVY PERIODS + CONSTANT FATIGUE? DON’T JUST ASSUME IT’S “NORMAL.”
If your periods are becoming heavier or lasting longer than usual, your body may be losing more iron over time. This can leave you feeling tired, weak, dizzy, or low in energy.
Uterine fibroids are one possible cause of heavy menstrual bleeding, although they are not the only cause. What matters is noticing when your cycle starts to change from what is normal for you.
Pay attention if you experience:
- Heavier menstrual bleeding
- Periods lasting longer than usual
- Ongoing tiredness or weakness
- Dizziness or low energy
If these symptoms keep happening, don’t simply ignore them.
