Join NMHCA/NMCAL October 7-8 for an intensive, in-person Life Safety Code Boot Camp designed to help long term care leaders better understand life safety requirements, strengthen compliance, and prepare for survey. Led by Kenneth Daily, LNHA, President of Elder Care Systems Group and Life Safety expert, this two-day training will take a practical look at NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code requirements. Through real-life examples and survey scenarios, attendees will learn about common deficiencies, inspection and testing requirements, fire protection systems, emergency power, doors and egress, and strategies for improving facility preparedness. Attendees will also receive life safety forms, sample policies, documentation templates, and best-practice resources that can be put to use back at their facilities.
