Happy Saturday, friends!
For me the veil is always thin, but I have definitely had a lot of drop-in visits from departed loved ones during this year’s Day of the Dead portal. When it happens, it is always unexpected and spontaneous. I could be driving, brushing my teeth, or eating breakfast, and suddenly they are with me, and somehow I’m with them. It’s like the realms merge together for a moment, and in that moment we connect beyond the physical realm. This year I have been visited by two of my teachers, my mother, my father, and my grandmother through drop-in visits, and my dear friend Roy Lucero visited me twice in my dreams. I believe these experiences are available to everyone. It’s important to keep our relationship going with our departed loved ones. You have to keep talking to them and listening to them. Go for a walk in the woods and invite them to come with you, have your morning coffee with them, share an ancestral meal together as a family, and have a space and a plate for them. They are with you more now than they could ever be physically. Some of our loved ones are now assistant saints on the other side, and they can do more for you from the spirit world than they ever could while physically present. You have allies on the other side who are interceding for you on your human journey. Keep the connection going, my friends; you are never alone, and they are always with you. Much love!
