Just saw Dr. Simon again today for help with an annoying foot callous ... she also sent me away with a written permission I have been trying to get form my busy primary care physician for months .... to take my cane along on plane trips. TSA is afraid of old ladies with hiking poles and have insisted I check my cane on previous occasions, so I am relieved to be able to carry my cane to avoid falls on my Thanksgiving trip to my Washington state family.

Another year, another assist from Dr Simon who referred me to a great PT team at Think Back who are strengthening my muscles to support problem with gait and balance

Hundreds of yards of linen were used to wrap a single mummy, and amulets were placed inside the wrappings. Furniture, statuettes, wall paintings of daily or religious scenes, and lists of foods and prayers were placed in the mummy’s tomb. Through a mystical process, these items were believed to transform into the actual items needed in the afterlife.

For those who could not afford mummification, their expired bodies would be buried in the dry desert sand to mummify naturally. They’d still make it to the afterlife, but they’d be traveling coach, not first class.
