Did you know UNM Speech & Hearing offers an Interprofessional Education Honors Certificate? 🎓✨ Shoutout to our incredible graduate students for showing us what teamwork looks like! , , and (Dietetics & Nutrition) teamed up to present on IDDSI diets and the powerful collaboration between SLPs and dietitians at IPE Day — and & (Nursing) tackled a capstone project spotlighting the SLP + nursing partnership with oral care in geriatric care. Thank you, Dr Phyllis Palmer for mentoring and championing IPE care. This is what future healthcare looks like. 💪

NSSLHA - UNM Chapter had the best time last night painting cherry blossoms together 🌸🎨 — and the fun was for a great cause! Thanks to everyone who joined in. They raised about $300 for Adelante Development Center (https://goadelante.org/), supporting their incredible work in our community.

🎉 UNM PhD Student Receives Award!

Congratulations to our doctoral student Jessica Nico, who won first place in the student research poster competition at DADDCEC (The Council for Exceptional Children's Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities) for her poster titled, "Reimagining Echolalia through Cascading Coaching"
!
The competition was incredibly competitive, and Jessica impressed the judges with her outstanding work. She received excellent feedback and a well-deserved cash prize.

Huge congratulations to Jessica on this amazing accomplishment! 👏
